The best fast food is healthier than the worst, according to a study by University of Pennsylvania researchers.
The study, published in the journal Health Affairs, found that McDonald’s hamburgers, McDonald’s chicken nuggets, and Burger King burgers were healthier than fast food options like Chipotle and Panera Bread.
The worst fast-food options, however, included Subway, Burger King, Panera, and Taco Bell.
According to the study, fast food chains are also much healthier than regular fast food outlets, which is why McDonald’s and Burger Kings are often mentioned as the top two choices for fast food.
According the researchers, fast-casual restaurants are also healthier than traditional fast-service restaurants, and fast-endurance food options such as Chipotle are also better than fast-car food options.
