Why Canada’s fast food industry can’t seem to catch a break

It’s been nearly three years since the death of a New York City McDonald’s worker, and the restaurant chain is still reeling from the aftermath of the tragedy.

“We had a McDonald’s on every corner in the city, and they didn’t have a place to stay,” said Michael Pacheco, the owner of the New York Times restaurant chain, where he now owns a branch in Canada.

Pachecolas family, including his mother and four siblings, had been dining out in restaurants around the city on Thanksgiving when they were attacked on a crowded street.

A group of men smashed their way into the restaurant and demanded to know the identity of the workers who had just left, according to court documents.

Paches father, an executive at the chain, told the gang that he didn’t know anyone from the chain’s franchisee and was too scared to go into the store to speak to the employees, according the documents.

The gang then attacked the family, and two of the men died in the attack, according a police report.

Pachols sister, who is also a McDonalds franchisee, was hospitalized and released on Thanksgiving Day.

The other worker who was killed suffered injuries from his own attack, but was later released.

The victim’s mother, who was the first to arrive at the restaurant, told investigators that her son, Michael, was a good employee who was very friendly and helpful.

Pachaces father told the police that he was not involved in the robbery and the gang may have known he wasn’t involved in it, but “did not tell me what he was doing,” according to the police report obtained by New York magazine.

The investigation is still ongoing, but authorities have told the newspaper that the family may have a motive.

“The family’s relationship with McDonald’s is a difficult one, and it’s important to understand that there are some things they do know about the company,” police said in a statement.

“While they don’t know everything, we believe the family is in need of some time to process what has happened.”

Pachecas family members are hoping to see a new McDonalds in the area.

They said they had spoken to the company about a possible location.

“It was like no time for closure, and now that we’re talking about the possibility of moving forward, I just can’t see how they can possibly continue,” Pachecia said.

“I want something for my kids, and McDonald’s has not provided me with that.”

The restaurant has closed, and employees are being given new pay and benefits, according for the Times.

McDonalds Canada is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the gang responsible for the attack.

The restaurant’s former CEO, Richard Gorman, is also expected to be interviewed by authorities.

“As the McDonalds brand continues to grow globally, we continue to work with partners to develop new strategies to ensure our restaurants continue to serve customers with exceptional quality,” the company said in an email.

McDonald’s Canada did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
