‘This is what I do for a living: I drive a taxi’

AUSTRALIAN driver Akshay Jha has found his passion and a way to make a living doing it.

The 34-year-old, who works for Fast Food Australia, travels the country delivering meals to fast food locations across the country, including McDonalds, Domino’s and Burger King.

“When I started, I wanted to be a fast food driver, but I wasn’t prepared for how much work it was going to take,” he said.

“I’ve done it all before, but to get to this point where I’m still in my mid-40s, it’s been the most amazing journey.”

Mr Jha was born in India and has worked as a taxi driver for three decades.

He’s been driving a taxi for around a decade and says he doesn’t mind the long hours.

“It’s definitely not stressful but it’s still stressful.

You just keep going,” he explained.”

You can’t do anything else.”

Mr Bajaj, the owner of the McDonalds in Adelaide, said fast food places in Adelaide are not the norm for the local population.

“Fast food is a very safe place, a very healthy place.

People eat fast food there,” he told ABC News.”

Most of the places that we work are in good condition.

They’re really happy to have us.”

Fast Food Australia has been providing food to fast-food restaurants in the region for about a decade.

“We do have a lot of customers who have made the drive to Perth to come to Fast Food,” Mr Bajag told ABC Radio Adelaide.

“They’re going to be here a lot longer and there’s not a whole lot that we can do about that.”

The only thing we can say is that we’re doing a really good job of supporting the community and providing food, but it takes a lot more work to do it properly than it does to get a drive here.

“Fast food restaurants in Adelaide have been a popular way for locals to eat out since it opened in 1996.

Mr Bag said there was an opportunity for other communities in the city to have a similar business model.”

If there’s another place like Perth or Adelaide, why not take that opportunity?” he said, adding that the community is excited to see fast food restaurants become more popular.”

For the last two or three years we’ve been seeing a lot growth in Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane,” he added.”

There’s been a real boom in fast food in Perth.

It’s quite a huge market.
